A
small-scale refurbishment project involving two different aspects - one
to completely upgrade existing male and female toilets, and the second to
convert the existing school office into a high quality meeting room. The
toilet areas were completely stripped of all fittings and new fittings and
finishing's installed. Great emphasis was placed on concealing all pipes
and cables etc. The office area was again stripped of all finishes. Several
windows and hatches were sealed off and a new door opening formed. Wall
panelling was provided to dado level to conceal cabling and provide the
right atmosphere. A kitchenette was concealed behind full height doors.
Lighting on dimmer switches and an air handling plant was installed. The
work was carried out in the summer holidays of 2001. |
